LGBTQ+ Teachers?

I started internship today, and I was wondering how many fellow LGBTQ+ teachers there are here on Reddit? Do the peers at your school know? (Are you out?) Have you had issues because of your sexuality?

I know federally we can't be fired do to sexuality. However, I live in the DEEP south, and sadly there are still a lot of many issues here surrounding this. I am a lesbian, and I think I want to get married in the future. Although, I am scared of both answering and dodging questions about this in the work place. I know I'm probably over-thinking this, but I'd like to hear others' perspective.

Advice? Stories? Thoughts?
