Omg travel??

Y’all. I’m a 41f second-year teacher. My husband and I just got married last year right at the start of summer and didn’t honeymoon — I have two kids and we all moved in together and wanted to focus on them. We were hoping to travel this summer but flights are soooo expensive. We were hoping for Europe but it’s such an expensive time to fly. We are also super flexible and not tethered to the idea of one particular place.

How do y’all deal with not being able to take time off except during peak travel times?

I’m considering moving to a year-round school in a few years just so that I have time off other than Spring Break, Xmas and the summer.

Anyone have any tips or tricks??
