Mac App Store updates, connection lost

Every time i've updated Tailscale recently on a variety of macOS hosts, Tailscale fails to reconnect to the tailnet following the update. I have to get physical access to the host, or connect via some other means to remedy.

Tailscale relaunches following the update, and is visible in the menu-bar, but indicates it's 'connecting' but doesn't connect. I have to turn the 'switch' off and back on again, then it will generally connect.

This has been an issue for a few months now, across numerous Tailscale versions and Mac's.

Anyone else experiencing same? I wonder if i'm missing something?
