Creatine makes my postprandial (post-meal) fatigue completely and utterly unbearable - anyone else?

Hi all,

I've been on a quest to identify my debilitating postprandial fatigue that I've had for many years. It's so bad that I can barely hold my eyes open, my head and heart pound, and I can't focus on anything.

I recently eliminated absolutely every single supplement, including whey and creatine. Miraculously, I felt better! I still felt a small lull after lunch, but it was completely manageable.

I added back Omega 3, Vitamin D, and K2 and continued to feel great. Yesterday, I added back the creatine (5-ish grams) and that same day I felt as though a semi truck ran me over. Same thing again today. I'm honestly surprised that it happened so quickly and noticeably.

I don't think it's placebo because honestly I thought it was the whey that was giving me issues, not the creatine. I think overall I'm a high responder to creatine since my muscles blow up like balloons on creatine, and I completely deflate when I'm off it.

Yes, I drink a lot of water and make sure to have adequate electrolyte intake, so I don't think I'm just dehydrated.

Does anyone else experience fatigue caused by creatine? I've only ever seen POSITIVES from creatine, but it makes me wonder if it's not for everyone.
