Manta pen loops and lying flat

To whom it may concern, the one way I’ve found to let the Manta lie flat with a chunk pen like the Lamy attached to the loop is to put only the cap’s clip through the loop, facing towards the rear. The device then lies flat, and it’s easy to pop the pen out of its cap one-handed to use it.

The pre-installed loop is elasticated, and of the “standard” size. You get an additional one of those in the box, plus a smaller elasticated one, and also a cuttable loop which is very different; darker, thinner, more tough and rigid material with screw-holes punched through in multiple places, and of considerable length, so you can cut it to fit just about any pen you care to use or make. There are also spare screws, a screwdriver, and a transparent cover that slides into the vacant loop bay (secured with screws) if you choose to remove the loop entirely.
