Yea, they rushed it, but in their defense…
Giving Jon powers was something we all wanted to see, but it did feel very rushed. We can let this slide, seeing as they had a 7-season plan originally, and when they were forced to end with 4, they had to rush some things that they wanted to end the show with.
I do think it was well handled though. One of Jon’s traits is that he can keep his cool under a lot of tension. But he has his breaking point. That’s why he wanted Jordan to leave him alone, because he didn’t wanna lose control. Losing control and letting his emotions go to the extreme is what caused the powers to come out, which is similar to what happened to Jordan.
And I like how he wasn’t instantly doing stuff in the episode. That’s not realistic. I’m interested to see how this plays out going forward.
