Questions regarding ranked system from a new player

Hi guys, I've been playing this game for 30 hours with my boys and having blast so far but for some reason I'm really confused with the state of ranked of this game atm.

For the context, I'm not entirely new to the shooting game (I'm Gold player at Valorant which is trash I know but hey, at least I can tap few heads, read maps, and actually using my utilities). Few days ago, I finally unlocked my rank by playing solo (APAC server) and got placed as Iron 3 here (which I dont have any complain about because I know I'm not good at this game and just curious what my rank would be).

When I was still unranked, my first 5 ranked games usually filled with players between unranked to bronze players and I can say that both sides have similar skill levels and its pretty balanced first 5 games.

But, the problem is the matchmaking after I unlocked my rank. Atm, I only have 36% WR out of 26 matches and I can confidently say that more than half of those games are filled with players that shouldnt be placed as low as me.

Again, I know my own skills and have no problem at all playing from the bottom, but why does it feel like the gap between iron players here is as big as Bronze to Platinum in Valorant? Is it because this is a new game and for some reason many players got stucked at Iron no matter how good you are?

From my own experiences, players in my lobbies are a mixture of literal new players that running straight to Kokona/ Audrey's line of sight, players who ignore their 2nd gun and waiting for the reload instead, players who rarely gliding around or become a paper to save themselves to those players that know how to use their smokes/ nades to clear Kokona/ Audrey, players that can glides like olympic athletes, Spidermen descendants that always walking at the wall and flawlessly evading enemies bullet, etc

To those players who managed to achieve Silver and above, do you play other shooting games and if yes, how high your rank in those games? To those people outside APAC region, especially fellow iron players like me, hows the quality of your matchmaking? Is it balance?

PS: on my last game, me and two random Japanese got carried and flamed real hard by fellow Iron players with 49% WR and hundred games because apparently we're too trash to playing with him which makes me wonder how the hell we're in the same bracket
