I regret buying this

bought the ultimate addition cause it looked super promising. had plenty of fun playing through Goku's story, a lot less playing through the other characters less developed ones, and no fun playing online for obvious reasons. was hoping the dlc would add cool story missions to play through at least. I see it's 3 custom episodes and they're all lame as shit. just artificial difficulty galore. oh cell max takes very very little damage but that's it. goku gives you 5 seconds to transform and if you don't hit the window you have to sit through a cutscenes. the android one was fine I guess but still such low quality for a major dlc update. like we can't at least script a beam clash or something in, man? the combat is fine but it's asking too much for what is still a very cheesy system. if I wanted to sweat I'd play fighterz(which I did enjoy a lot) and ig if I wanted story mode stuff to do I should just go buy XenoVerse dlc (a game from 2016 mind you that is still being updated with higher quality dlc drops). I wanna clarify I haven't played XenoVerse in like 5 years but I genuinely got more out of their dlc when I would play it. sad state of this series, I'm prolly not opening it for a long while. I don't blame the devs, I blame bandai for cutting corners but doesn't change the fact this game wasted so much potential. everything beyond Goku's storyline is a tech demo for a game showcase
