Do the Solterra cameras act as dash cams?

Sorry if this is a dumb question. I Google searched a bit but could not find an answer.

Can the driving cameras on the 2024 Solterra limited act as a dash cam? Meaning if I’m in an accident or have any kind of other traffic issue, will the cameras capture that?

I live in an area where people like blowing through traffic lights and stop signs for fun. I currently have a dash cam on my gas car and wondering if I’ll need one for the Solterra.
