I believe Gunn is waging a personal crusade against Zack Snyder and the DC Universe
Alright, hear me out. Ever since he took over at Warner, he has done nothing but lie. First, he claimed he would do what was best for the brand.
He announced the cancellation of the Snyderverse even before The Flash, Aquaman 2, and Blue Beetle were released, effectively condemning multimillion-dollar productions to failure. Then he said he would initiate a reboot, but he kept the actors from his own series and, of course, HIS WIFE.
He misled Henry Cavill. He misled David Ayer, giving him false hope that the Ayer Cut would be released—a chance not only to redeem a single film but an entire cinematic universe. Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if the Ayer Cut had won awards, particularly given Jared Leto’s hidden performance, much like how the Snyder Cut went on to win an Oscar.
I don’t trust Gunn. According to early screenings, even his Superman film doesn’t seem to be faring well. Isn’t that suspicious? What if he’s sabotaging DC for reasons unknown to us? Honestly, I wouldn’t be shocked if his motives extended even further, though I don’t think this is the right place to delve into that—especially after being attacked by trolls over my other post about Zack.
I’m not saying you should take my words as gospel, but I urge you to think critically. Don’t rule anything out.
