Why does the toilet trophy go to the winner of the consolation bracket instead of the guy in last place?

I have the consolation bracket set up for standard instead of toilet bowl and the app auto assigned the last place trophy to the consolation bracket winner, and I don't see an option on the app to change this. It's really stupid that a trophy that basically says "you suck" was given to the person in 7th place instead of 12th place. Is there a way to reassign this trophy to the person who finished last?
