How will this season approach Garrisons passing?

I’ve seen a few complaints about the repetition of Christine’s wedding and how this season seems to have a bunch of filler episodes. From what I’ve read it’s due to them cutting out a lot of garrisons scenes (I’m guessing maybe he shared more of his feelings towards k & r and after his passing they didn’t feel comfortable with viewers knowing his last comments on the show were discussing his discontent with his dad, this is just my guess)

With that in mind, do you think that they’ll just end the season on a “good” note and add a in loving memory within the credits or do you think they’ll address it head on. It’s kind of putting my stomach in knots thinking about what these next episodes could be since they’re apparently more up to date with the current.

Update: I did not see it before but they did leave an In memoriam for him at the first episode of the season 19, so I’m led to believe that this may be the most comforting way to address the situation without reliving the trauma of discussing the situation again.
