Could someone explain this to me? (Heracles)

Hello, this is my first post on this subreddit so apologies for any confusion. So I recently joined the Record of Ragnarok fandom and there's something that's been bothering me. Many of us know that Heracles does not support the destruction of humanity, in fact, he's in full support of humanity. Now my question is, does anyone know why he's fighting on the side of the Gods during Ragnarok? Buddha, although being a demi-god, fought on the side of humans so why did Heracles not do the same? I haven't read the Manga and there's nothing online explaining why either

Was there a segment in the Manga that explained why? The only theories I was able to come up with were that he was threatened in some way or forced to obey the Gods' bidding
