I have an interview tomorrow for server/bartender at a BBQ smokehouse, what should I be prepared for?
I’ve served and bartended for the last 8 years so I am not new to the industry, but I haven’t interviewed anywhere for over six years so I am extremely new to interviewing. I know I am a great at bartending at restaurants, where I’m bartending and also serving food at the bar top and tables. But I am afraid of freezing up or giving basic answers.
It’s a smokehouse with a large whiskey and craft beer list. Casual but not cheap.
I don’t want to just give generic answers, I want to know the common questions and the right things to say and how to come across.
