Passed the 66 this morning
If there is any meaningful advice that can be given it’s take as many practice questions as you can. Never get hung up on one topic because it may only account for one question on the test or you may never see it at all. Every test is different. However I can say that you WILL absolutely see state and federal law and you will absolutely see questions about IA’s IAR’s BD’s Agents’s be able to distinguish them from one another and what makes them unique in their roles. In order to pass you need to be able to know what is a PROHIBITED PRACTICE and what IS NOT. Test is designed to make sure you “know the rules” once you’re an advisor. Most importantly keep it cool and don’t bug out. As for the rest of the material on the test I’ve been checking out this page a lot everyone seems to have a different experience with what they’ve seen including myself so I can’t emphasize enough TAKE AS MANY PRACTICE QUESTIONS AS YOU CAN.
I’m 26 never went to college or had any background in finance and passed the SIE, 7, and 66 in 2 1/2 months. If I can do it so can you.
