Turning a mistake into…., well something.

I was just trying to clean a little dirt off the back of this dial… and ended up melting the paint right off with isopropyl alcohol. Oops. Ordered a replacement right away, but figured—why not try something different? Stripped the rest of the paint in my ultrasonic cleaner, and to my surprise, it revealed a clean sunburst effect on the bare metal. Not what I planned, but hey… sometimes mistakes turn into something cool!
