I’m tired, and I’m leaving.

Came here a year ago for a great job making over 100k. Heard and seen terrible things but didn’t believe it could actually be that bad. Boy was I wrong.

I’m tired of paying $5.50 for gas, I’m tired of paying an exorbitantly high rent and other expenses to live in an unsafe and mediocre apartment that doesn’t even have AC, I’m tired of living in fear of my car getting stolen or broken into and seeing it happen in broad daylight 20ft away, I’m tired of seeing homeless people everywhere, I’m tired of seeing drug addicts walking around like zombies while nobody bats an eye (seriously, is this normal to you guys?), I’m tired of seeing addicts in the grocery store walking out without paying with a full cart while I can’t get a fucking plastic bag at checkout. I’m tired of reading about shootings and stabbings that take place around areas I common. I’m just fucking tired and I’m happily giving up my 110k salary job to GTFO. Seriously, you guys have your priorities so fucking backwards and this entire region from Seattle to Portland is a complete dump. Peace out.
