When do personalities actually start to form?

I find people project personality traits on their babies honestly starting in utero. But I’m wondering if there’s any research about when we actually do develop genuine personality traits. Because there are things my 4 mo does that I wonder, “is this just a normal baby phase… or is this her personality showing up?”
