Safe places to go at night?

What would be the safest places to visit at night?

I live a nomad life with my wife, and we are staying for 2 weeks in Santiago. Since we work from home, most of our tourist time would be around at night (Except the first week when I will have more daytime and will walk during the day so I'm staying at the center near bellas artes).

During the second week, what would be the best place to stay to explore the city at night without too many concerns? What streets or neighbors should I stay that would be good to walk and visit during night time?
