Digital Ultrasonic Cleaner

One of my family members shared this device with me and I was wondering what’s a plan of attack to strip the paint off of these miniatures. I’m told these miniatures do NOT have primer, so would I need to use a degreaser (ex. La’s Totally Awesome), or would water suffice to strip paint off of these painted-but-non-primed-minis? They also came unvarnished, so I do not know if that makes it even easier to sonicate the paint off of these miniatures. In terms of chemicals I have access to? That is of no issue, and I appreciate your shared knowledge.
