Will FedEx hold my item?

Not sure if anyone else has experienced this. My FedEx package should be getting here by tomorrow but I realized I put the wrong delivery address. I called the local facility to hold the item at location. The rep said he could do it but to call back tomorrow morning. So far I haven't received any confirmation or update to my tracking.

Can I be sure that the item will be held? Sorry I'm anxious because every experience I've had with FedEx has been horrifying.
