MVP is a bullshit today
Do you still think that building a low quality prototype and releasing it will get you your first valuable users?
Think again.
The idea of building something as quickly as possible, wrapping it in chewing gum and showing it to users to get quick feedback is still alive and well. But those days are over.
Today, people are releasing hundreds of apps every day, fighting for attention. People are overwhelmed with these apps, even early adopters, and they don't want to test crappy and buggy soft.
I don't believe in the MVP anymore. Especially if you want to release a product in a competitive market.
To be honest, it's also a bit rude to release crap and waste people's time testing it.
It's time for MLP - Minimum Lovable Product.
Try to make something that people will love from the start, not just tolerate. It's harder because you have to put more energy and resources into it, but I think the game has changed and we have to adapt.
What do you think?
