Aliexpress January Big Save Sale: Comparison of Prices
Shorter summary today as this Big Save Sale only runs three days from January 14th to January 16th. Big Save sales aren't usually very appealing because of a combination of high base prices with conditional and poor coupons. However, this one is slightly better as there are some decent coupons to take advantage of. If you're just curious about the data, scroll to the bottom.

Before I begin, as always there are scammers that look to take advantage of people looking for good deals. They're getting smarter too as usually scammers have highly unrealistic precoupon pricing. While browsing aliexpress, I saw precoupon $140 and $160 RP4Pros. These are both scams. There are also $180 Odin 2s and $13 Trimui Smart Pros/RGB30s.
As stated above, Big Save sales are traditionally some of the worst "sales" that aliexpress offers. A combination of high base pricing plus poor coupons leads to unattractive prices. For the most part, this sale follows this pattern. For instance, while updating the spreadsheet I noticed that many anbernic devices jumped roughly 20% in base price in comparison to the January Choice Sale. So as a result, most of the prices on devices are not attractive.
There are a few deals due to some decent coupons. Unfortunately, I believe these coupons might be US only. They're located near the top of my spreadsheet. Also, there are some country specific coupons if you use the app and navigate to the "Big Save" section on the home page of the app.
Some decent deals include:
- First, the R40s has actually hit a historical low of $36.02 if you're able to take advantage of the superdeal in conjunction with the coupons. I suspect they're clearing these out since the new and improved r46s is out.
- Another square device in the CubeXX super deal is $50.83 after coupon.
- The RP Mini super deal isn't half bad either at $172.46.
- RP5 is the same price as the last sale at $218.42 which is a bit cheaper than Retroid's website since Retroid's website pricing does not factor in shipping. Could bring it down to roughly $215-216 if you use the corresponding coins super discount link along with my coins super discounts method.
Finally as always, in the interest of transparency, I am providing two spreadsheets. The first spreadsheet is the regular spreadsheet with both affiliate and non affiliate links.
