Eyesight requirements

Hi all. I'm currently applying for the marines (as part of their musician devision) and wanted to check the eyesight requirements. I would be willing to get laser treatment if necessary. My question is whether I should get it before the assessment and what the exact requirements are for entry regarding sight. Is there a strict cut off or is it at the leniency of the recruiter?
