How do you feel about romance novels ending in marriage?

I feel like in most romance novels I read, the characters haven’t been dating long enough so it really stresses me out! Here’s a few books I loved where this ending kind of ruined it for me (spoilered out but I don’t consider this a huge giveaway for any of the books mentioned):

Beach Read: I LOVE this book. But Gus proposing NINE MONTHS after his divorce was finalized when he and January hadn’t even been together a year? Gus! I loved you so much up until this point! I thought you were so sensible!

Fix Her Up: Travis proposing to literal clown Georgie after TWO DAYS of an official relationship???? GEORGIE YOU ARE TWENTY THREE AND WORKING ON EXPANDING YOUR CLOWN BUSINESS!!! PRIORITIES!

If I Never Met You: this one killed me. What a beautiful novel about moving on. What I loved was that the relationship wasn’t even the hugest part of the story: Laurie’s reclaiming of herself and her friendship with Emily were also a large part. But that all changed when Laurie had been with Jamie for LIKE TWO WEEKS when she proposed cause “hey let’s be crazy!” Honestly to me made it seem like she was looking for what she never got from Dan. I am very very bitter.

But I can’t tell if this is me being a cynic!!! Do you guys like it when characters get married at the end of romance novels, especially when they haven’t been together long?
