Book request: Reverse caretaking + Domesticity
I've encountered numerous threads requesting books where the hero demonstrates exceptional love, care, and concern for the heroine. However, I'm searching for stories that subvert this trope and explore a reverse caretaking scenario.
I want the heroine to be kind and gentle with the hero. I want her to make him feel better and take away his worries, even for a little while. I want sweet scenes where she cares about him and worries that he works too hard and doesn't take care of himself. Maybe she cooks for him, brings him food at work, gives him massages, helps him wash, takes care of him, listens to his problems, and helps him feel better physically, emotionally and sexually. I want her to give him lots of love and attention.
Many books portray successful, ambitious billionaires as invincible. But I believe that their demanding lifestyles come with immense stress. I want my hero to fall in love with the heroine because she recognizes his vulnerabilities and provides unwavering support. He's accustomed to taking care of everyone else, but who takes care of him?
Bonus points if the hero is a classic alpha male, struggling to express his need for love and affection while burdened by the weight of the world.
All genres are okay, but only M/F relationships please.
Examples of books with scenes with this trope -
{Ripple Effect by Ki Stephens} Heroine is a physical therapist who forces hero to let her take care of his sports injury even when he insists that he is okay.
{Beard Necessities by Penny Reid} Heroine makes hero's favourite food when he is recovering from illness.
{Serenity by Janet Nissenson} Heroine is the hero's masseuse, offering him solace when he struggles with his issues between his ex-wife and children.
{Sweet Intensity by Zoe Blake} Heroine works at a men's grooming salon and gives hero a shave.
{Demanding Mob Boss by Lucy Monroe} Hero's all riled up, so the heroine lets him get his frustrations out in a sexual way. He plays with her boobs.
{Crossing the Lines by SJ Hooks} The whole book is this trope, but kinkier.
Looking forward to all the recommendations!
