He’s hopelessly in love and shows it

I’ve been running into a lot of books lately where the MMC is supposedly very in love with the FMC, but treats her poorly. Miscommunications, push/pull, third act break ups abound. Which is also something I’ve been observing frequently in real life too sadly.

I’d love a book where the MMC uses his actions to express his love and care for the FMC, and clearly has her well-being at the forefront of his mind.
