COVID Entry Policy
Here is the Instagram post from Riot Fest with detailed information.
Proof of vaccination:
- Vaccination card
- Photocopy of vaccination card (take to Staples, FedEx, Office Max to make a copy)
- Digital copy of vaccination card (photo on a phone or digital vaccination record)
or a negative COVID test:
- Must be completed within 48 hours of entering Riot Fest
- If you are attending multiple days you will need multiple tests i.e. if attending Thursday to Sunday, on Saturday you will need a COVID test. If you are attending Friday to Sunday, you will need a negative test for Sunday.
- Children over the age of 2 will require a test
Where can I get a COVID test?
- Walgreens - appointment required
- CVS - appointment required
- Physicians Immediate Care - multiple locations throughout the city and suburbs. Time slots open up the morning of
- Innovative Express Care - located at 1111 W Diversey Pkwy, Chicago, IL, 60614
- On-site testing will be available as well for $50
- At-home testing is accepted, but MUST be FDA-EUA approved

NOTE: PLEASE BE HAVE PATIENCE WITH ALL THE VENDORS, BARTENDERS, VOLUNTEERS, AND STAFF THAT ARE WORKING. BECAUSE OF CURRENT REAL LIFE CIRCUMSTANCES THEY ARE PROBABLY UNDERSTAFFED AND WORKING LONG HOURS. THERE IS ONLY SO MUCH THEY CAN DO.
What can I bring in to Riot Fest?
Here is the Riot Fest FAQ page with a list of allowed and not allowed items. At this time, there has been no update in regards to bags.
Reminder even though cannabis is legal in Illinois for recreational use, cannabis is still illegal at the federal, and is still illegal to consume in public in Illinois. Therefore it is not allowed to be brought on to festival grounds. This falls under the category of not allowed items of no illegal or illicit substances of any kind. You don't want to make the costly mistake of going to a dispensary right before going to the fest, and having to leave it all on the security table.
Can I rent a locker?
Yes, They will be Available on site.
Is there parking?
Here are the official Riot Fest parking lots, parking is VERY limited:
1229 S. California Ave. Entrance located at W. 12th Pl and S. California Ave $30 per vehicle, per day
Maria Saucedo Elementary School 2850 W. 24th Blvd. Entrance located at W. 23rd Pl and S. California Ave $20 per vehicle, per day
