Remarkable PP erasing when it's not supposed to

Guys I just got the Remarkable PP and sometimes when I'm writing it automatically switches to the eraser mode (even tho the pen is still selected) and starts deleting stuff. Has any of you guys also experienced this problem or is my tablet/pen flawed?
