I’m here to yap about this RRO because I’ve realized how much of the 2 RROs that we’ve gotten lack the replay ability that MITM has. First of all, MLM and RTB are too short, they really don’t serve a purpose after you finish the game meanwhile MITM has lots of more content to show to its players and keep them playing.
Second, MITM doesn’t have a issue with it’s cosmetics, both MLM and RTB have cosmetics that you NEED to pay for, although RTB does have cosmetics that you can get for free which is better than what MLM did they just have plain T shirts and that’s it, all the other cosmetics are just expensive. What MITM does right tho is that you’re able to get ALL of its items for free without spending ANY tokens, you CAN spend tokens but you don’t have to which is a pretty good move by Rec Room to have their players keep grinding and playing MITM to get the rewards.
Lastly, MITM does what RROs SHOULD be, actual gameplay, not walking around simulator or a game you can finish in 3 hours, MITM is what players should comeback to every once in awhile like Paintball and Quests.
I’m getting the feeling that RR is not putting much effort into their RROs recently after MITM, they are really losing their replay ability and they just feel like side quests instead of actual games. I hope for the next RRO it has more content that brings players back to it every once in a while and not be a 3 hour game.
