About the Conduct of Our Community Members Online and the Future of Our Youngsters: A Rant
Young Rajput men on the internet are extremely uncouth, short-tempered, and quick to use foul language, thus quickly gaining a reputation for being 'dehati'.
Most of these young men are from middle-class backgrounds, studying a mediocre course like B.Sc.-IT, have a poor grasp of the English language, are probably socially inept in real life, but the idea of being from a "superior lineage" helps them to cope with their sorry existence.
Being the poorest unreserved communities, we find ourselves in a dangerous predicament. We not only face the brunt of reservations but also have to compete with communities that are significantly ahead of us for the same jobs and college admissions, severely limiting our chances of upward social mobility. However, instead of working hard to catch up with communities like TamBrahms and Khatris, our youth is engrossed in fighting caste wars online and sharing 'sigma Rajput' edits.
It is high time that men in our community realized that the institution known as "jati" will inevitably wither away in the face of ideologies like capitalism, feminism, and liberalism. Therefore, it is foolish to place so much emphasis on it. Instead, we should define ourselves by our achievements and aspirations, not our caste. Our connection to our Rajput heritage should be one of intellectual curiosity and respectful appreciation.
