Bunny doesn’t leave playpen

Hi! So i got this lovely bunny on friday, a holland mini lop. He is so cute but he doesn’t want to leave his pen, while I allow him to freeroam. He doesn’t like to come close to the border yet. Also he is still spraying at night on soft places like the house and his cushion i got him so i took it away temporarily. But he peed in his litterbox today once so i’m happy about that. Is it normal that he doesn’t explore that much yet? He sniffs my hand sometimes and eats his hay, pellets and drinks but he doesn’t move around much. At night he plays more. Let me know your experiences when you first got your bunny, i want to be good to him 💖🫶🏼
