Thumstick swap Xbox Elite?

I'm really considering swapping the sticks out. I saw a mod that uses PS5 thumbsticks. A great way to add a custome look. My question is. Would I be able to to swap in Xbox Elite controller thumbsticks. It would be so cool to use the swappable feature from those. Would they fit. Has anyone tried.
