More questions on Plus package

Wife and I are going on our first cruise in January. It's 7 days and the Plus package will add $720 to our total. We're wine drinkers, and I could easily see us having 3-4 glasses of wine each day (I've read Princess is stingy on their pours, so a glass of wine is typically four ounces). Sure we'd use the two casual meals (but probably would not eat them if we didn't have the Plus package) and we really don't care about the desserts.

I have read that Princess adds $17 to your bill each day for a gratuity. I saw something that says gratuities are included in Princess Plus. Does that mean if we pay the $60 per day (each) we don't get charged the $17 each?

So in all, is the $720 worth it for us?

Another question about tipping. If tipping is automatically charged, do you still give a few bucks cash when someone brings your breakfast or serves you a drink?
