Nedbank cards no longer accepted toll plazas.

Hi guys. I was driving on the N1 north yesterday and used my Nedbank Mastercard without issue in the morning. Driving back though, my card was declined at every toll plaza (luckily I had cash on me). The lady at Pumulani plaza told me that Nedbank cards are no longer accepted. I checked with Nedbank this morning and they confirmed that this feature (paying at toll booths) has been permanently discontinued. No reason given. I find this very strange. Does anyone have more insight on this?
