Potty trained child in pull ups when sick?

I’m talking about fever, flu-like symptoms, sleeping all day sick. My 5yo is obviously day potty trained (still wears pull ups at night) but today he is feverish and has no energy. He’s been falling asleep on the couch off and on and had an accident already. Is it completely lazy of me to let him wear a pull up while sick? What do you do when they’re this run down?
