How do you increase retention and maximize time?

Hello! It's my 3rd month on Preply and I'm really working on making it my full-time job. I teach Psychology and it's pretty good so far. My question is - what are some best practices in dealing with students from a business perspective? Like what's your SOP? I build good relationships and connection with my students but a girls gotta pay her rent too haha
