Flaky student

I’m new to Preply and, like many, started with a low rate ($4) to attract students. Most of my students are still from that time, even though I’ve since raised my price.

The issue is that Preply allows people who favorited me long ago to still book at the old rate. One student bought a package but constantly reschedules (all the classes)—often 24 hours in advance—taking up popular slots and blocking more committed students. This has happened three times.

Today, he confirmed he’s free, but I’m unsure about continuing with someone who doesn’t respect my time or work, especially at such a low rate. I’ve often rearranged my plans for him, only to have the lesson moved last minute. It’s unfair to me and my other students. Any suggestions on how to proceed?
