My student cancelled their subscription without saying anything.

Hi all, I had a lesson with this student yesterday and he seemed happy and content. He said he was renewing his subscription but I received a message this morning to say he had cancelled. He hasn't messaged to say why. Since he began I have increased my lesson prices but I thought this only affects my new students? He won't get charged the new price unless I request it? I'm just a bit baffled as he always says how much he loves the lessons and it is strange he would cancel without saying anything? Or am I being too sensitive and reading too much into it?

UPDATE: Thanks for all your replies! I sent him a message saying that I was sad he had cancelled, that I hope he enjoyed the lessons and best of luck etc and he was really confused. Turns out he just hadn't renewed his subscription yet! So I was a bit embarrassed but I'm just annoyed Preply sent a message saying he cancelled his subscription. Honestly I view him as a friend and I enjoy our conversations (conversation class only) so I was pretty sad but I guess I need to accept that students will come and go and they might not tell me why.
