Cayenne GTS Offroad Build - Hardcore vs. Transsyberia Inspired - Need Your Input!

I'm about to embark on a fun project – turning my pristine '09 Cayenne GTS into an offroad toy. I'm torn between two build directions and could really use your collective wisdom.

Option 1: Full Send Offroad Beast: This involves a serious lift kit, custom bumpers (front and rear), a roof rack. This requires in some cutting/modification to the body, and all the other goodies that come with a hardcore build. Think maximum offroad capability.

Option 2: Transsyberia Tribute: This is a more restrained approach, drawing inspiration from the original Cayenne Transsyberia rally cars. Think 2 inches lift, more subtle offroad-focused modifications, and a focus on preserving the original lines of the car. This option is definitely more cost-effective, easily reversible, and keeps a more elegant, OEM+ aesthetic.

My GTS is in fantastic original condition, which makes Option 1 a bit harder to swallow (cutting and drilling into a clean example!). Option 2 feels like a safer bet, but I also love the idea of a truly capable offroader.

What do you guys think? Which direction would you take?

Also, I'm pondering a color change. The current color is Marine Blue. Any suggestions for colors that would fit the offroad vibe, especially if I go with the Transsyberia-inspired build?

Thanks in advance for your advice!
