To the parents. How do you fit your car seats?

I have got my polestar this week. Trying to fit my iso fix base car seat is proving difficult. The rear headrest interferes with the back of the chair so I removed the headrest which leaves these ominous prongs. Don’t worry the little ones head is no where near them however I feel it’s not a great solution. Has anyone got any suggestions for car seats.
