I made pokemon based on lingonberries. Lingonger - the trader pokemon. It trades berries that grow on its body with pokemon and humans for other resources that help this species develop as a primitive civilisation.

It has berries that constantly grow on its body but which hinders this pokemon movements. Lingongers are quite inteligent and tear them off when berries become unberryble and heavy.

Then they trade them with humans and pokemon in exchange for whatever they need. They purposely seek out people and pokemon that can give them something that they look for.

Berries of this pokemon is known to be highly nutrious and they are used not only as food but also for all sort of potions and strong medicines.
