Sink leaks

Hi there! You guys were a tremendous help yesterday, so I’m hoping you can help me today too. Backstory: we just bought this house 4 days ago, and although inspection came back clear, we now noticed while unpacking our bathroom, there was a big wet puddle in the cabinet one of the double sinks in the master bathroom. I first just took off the bottom pipe that connects from the sink to the wall hoping it was a quick unclog, but didnt see anything there. I reattached it and screwed it tightly back on, wiped everything dry and let the water run for 5 minutes. Noticed the water was coming from above, leaking through the seal. see video. what do i do? get silicone and reattach the seal? Get a whole new black piece to reattach to the pipes?
