Need some help sailing the high seas with adobe acrobat and vegas pro

Greetings!

I installed these programs like the readme instructed but after some time adobe starts having popups saying it will be deactivated in X amount of days and vegas pro does not open anymore. If I recall correctly, I need to somehow disable the automatic updates/verification. Perhaps somebody could give me some easy to follow steps on this process?
