Tobacco is heating up

Hi to all, I am new pipe smoker. I use as a start Custom cheap wood pipe, and McBaren Cherry choice tobacco.

Can you share video links of how to smoke cool? Tobacco is heating up constantly and sometimes burning my tongue a bit.
