I cant decide whether to leave my good paying job for London for a few years or stay in NZ. Looking for other peoples experiences or opinions who have been in the same situation.

Hey everyone, basically the title but ill add some more information

I have been offered a salary of 185k this year but I am in two minds if I should stay or go live in London for a few years.

I own a house in Auckland and have a few flat mates so my expenses each week is pretty minimal compared to income. With this new salary, I would have enough disposal income to do overseas travel a couple times a year.

Having said that, I am in my early thirties and getting a bit of FOMO with alot of people I know moving overseas. I also would love to try living in a different country and travel to different countries which is why London is soo appealing. If I did, I would need to take advantage of the visa for Kiwis which goes up to the age of 35.

I know my salary in London wouldn't be close to what I am offered (in the beginning anyway) and guess that I could maybe get 45,000 pounds. I have worked pretty hard till now and get the feeling I would be throwing it all away.

I also have a small dog and if I was to move, she would be coming with me.

Has anyone been in this situation or have any advice because I am really in two minds about this.
