Transfer from Prior Employer RPP to current job pension or personal RRSP directly?
Have $68k in prior company pension split between RPP and personal RRSP - low rate of return. Thinking to transfer into better performing pension at current company. The RRSP portion seems straightforward with T2220. But - can you transfer RPP from one company into another's as a contribution, or into an RRSP directly? Not keen to take a tax hit by cashing the RPP and then re-allocating.
