403 c perkins engine

The injector pump will not come out of the injector body it is like there is a linkage connected. Is there a trick to get it out? Tis is an ebay pump but I need to get the one in mine out. It is still in the tractor and if I cant get a little help I will have to pull the motor out of the tractor te reach it (Boxer mini skidsteer with little room)
