Would anyone be able to answer a question about snorkeling at the Perdido Key reef

I'll be visiting Pensacola in a couple weeks, and definitely want to snorkel even if it's not super warm. All of the tours are closed until at least may. I wanted to know how you go about snorkeling at the Perdido reef. I couldn't find much info on the how, only the where. Is there a place that loans out snorkeling gear and floatation device or do you have to bring your own? I apologize for the stupid question but I've never snorkeled and this will be my first time seeing the ocean. I'm a little over excited.
