Leagues grind

No criticism of the game, I actually just wanted peoples thoughts as to whether this is a game for me.

I enjoy the gameplay but I’m a married dad of 1 with 2 dogs and a job. My lifestyle is decent in that I can still get a really good burst of gaming on the weekends (make sure you cook for your wives/partners, lads 😂) but I’ve always wondered as to whether these types of games are for me because the gameplay loop is that you start over if I’m correct? I understand that any created characters (barring EA) go into ‘standard’.

The kind of grind it takes to even level up to 50 is quite daunting or at least I found it that way playing Diablo 4 and the idea of doing it again on my time constrictions just wasn’t for me. That being said I’ve seen some people say that the idea is to embrace it.

I wanted other people’s thoughts on it. Is standard still decent if you’re quite busy and can’t really dedicate the time that these leagues sound like they’ll need?
